Biographie de Tricia Bethel :
------in translation-------Tricia Bethel (1981- ) is a contemporary self-taught painter who was born in Petite Martinique, Grenada. Her works have been shown on some group or solo exhibitions in China, USA, Grenada, and Barbados. 

Tricia started to painting at the age of 12; and received education in Beijing, China, where she continues to purse artworks as an impressionist and realist painter.

The artist likes using brilliant colors and texture that reflect a Caribbean history and resilience, with subjects ranging from landscapes to portraits, and strives to develop her own style without limiting herself from evolving. 

Till 2016 Tricia Bethel has painted and sold more than 500 paintings. She presently resides in Beijing, China where she works as a teacher.
